Part 14 - SCCM 2012 R2 Installation : DP Configuration

When a SCCM Primary site is installed Management Point & Distribution point are installed with the site (You do have option to keep these SCCM roles separate and they can be configured to run on two different servers). Here we will be discussing about Distribution Point & it's properties. 

When the DP is installed on the SCCM Site server it creates following folders in the C:\ Drive :-

When a package is distributed to the DP SCCM copies the package to SMSPKGC$ :-

 Go to Administrator\Distribution Points

Right click on the default distribution point & Select Properties :-

Go to the PXE Tab & check "Enable PXE Support for clients" :-

Check "Allow this distribution point to respond to incoming PXE requests" & "Enable unknown computer support", Click OK:-
